We strive to promote independent living for our young people. Our flexible support packages are responsive to the individual needs offering them every chance to build on their life skills/coping techniques thus reduce the long term need for support.

We provide apartment style tenancies with 24/7 support located in the North West along with sole tenancy accommodation.

Adult Complex Care
At Next Stage we provide various models of active support that offers real choice and control over how people live their lives. We are committed to understanding each individual and by providing person centred support we successfully support people to have a good quality of life living in their own homes in the heart of local communities. We support people of all age groups and abilities from the transition stage to end of life support.
At Next Stage we are committed to delivering the best support available. It is our aim to ensure what people with all abilities are supported in ways that they themselves define. Our support begins with the you and a shared understanding of what is important to you, all our approaches work under the co-production models of support and all our approaches are individualised and delivered in a very person centred way.
We offer a service that offers real choice and control over how you live your life, focusing on independence and support to achieve your personal goals and aspirations. We have a proven track record of supporting adults with complex needs and are able to rigorously manage risks associated with behaviours that may challenge services within a community based setting, we believe in positive risk taking, as achieving positive outcomes are an integral part to the success of reducing such behaviours following the principles of positive behaviour support.
Support living locations include;
This is our new service in the heart of Bury town centre, it offers 22 individual apartments for adults with a learning disability in safe spacious grounds, this allows individuals to live independently in their own homes with access to 1:1 support and also elements of shared support and still spend time with a peer group.
Buttermaket Street is a former bank in Warrington town centre that has been converted into 10 individual flats. Buttermarket Street has been set up as a Bridge to Independence for clients who have come from an intensive support setting but now are not required to be supported 24/7 however may lack certain knowledge or skills to live independently in the community.
Lakeland House is a former public house in Leyland that has been converted into 11 individual flats. Lakeland House that has alson been set up as a Bridging unit.
The service users will be staying at Lakeland House for around 18 months with 20 hours of support time. The goal at Lakeland is to provide the service users with the skills and knowledge they require to eventually go and live independently within in the community.
Next Stage have a close relationship with My Space who are a specialist housing association that provides individuals with a home that is suitable to their own specific needs. Each property is sourced taking into account the needs and desires of the service user, care co-ordinator and any other relevant individuals that will ensure the individual has a successful tenancy. It has been proven that the location of the property is crucial to the ongoing progress of an individual and as such My Space aim to source all of their properties in the best possible community environments for each individual.
As a minimum, My Space will provide each service user with their own home, with at least two bedrooms. This means they do not have to share their home with anyone, but allows for trusted family and friends to spend time with them at their home 619 roofing. All of the sourced properties will be ideally freshly decorated and carpeted, have heating, a fully fitted kitchen, and a three piece bathroom and will be fully furnished.
